When Havana resident Luke Wickman walks into a room you do not miss this 6’4”, 320 lb. young man even with his polite and quiet manner. Luke is a proud Havana native and just happens to be one of the driving forces behind the success of The Bloomington Extreme as they head to Sioux Falls, South Dakota for the end of the regular season. This offensive lineman leaves that polite and quiet manner on the sidelines when it’s game time.

The Extreme Wickdaddy

"In what could be a sneak preview to this season’s United Bowl IV, the Bloomington Extreme travels to Sioux Falls (S.D.) for its final regular-season United Indoor Football game Saturday at 7:05 p.m. at Sioux Falls Arena. The Extreme, which clinched a share of the Eastern Conference title last week, will be looking to win the franchise’s first outright championship in its short three-year history with a victory over the Storm. Bloomington (7-6) also will be out to avenge a 50-37 loss in the first game of the season this year at U.S. Cellular Coliseum. The Extreme has already secured a home date in the UIF Eastern Conference championship game June 30 at 7:05 p.m. against the winner of the River City-Sioux City firs-round playoff game May 21. Sioux Falls needs a victory over the Extreme to earn its fourth straight Western Conference title. The Storm, the three-time United Bowl defending champion, has a 10-3 record. The two teams could meet again July 12 in United Bowl IV in Sioux Falls should they survive in their respective conference playoffs."
