Remembering, with love...

   I cannot imagine a more devastating experience than the loss of a child. Sadly many families in this area have experienced this tragedy. Once again this year two of Havana’s residents will not only remember the child they lost but they will share their creative and loving manner in doing so with all their neighbors who have had similar tragedies.

  PJ and Ginger Long will again erect The Butterfly Tree in Havana’s Courtyard during the Court Yard of Lights. Families can place a hand-made butterfly ornament on the tree containing the child’s name, birth date, and angel date.

   Anyone who would like to participate in this loving tribute to their child can send the above information and your name, address, and phone number to: PJ and Ginger Long, 580 South Plum Street,  Havana, IL 62644.

  To help with the cost of materials please include $2.00 for each ornament that will be placed on the tree and is yours to keep after the event. If you would prefer it to be mailed to you please include $3.00. For more information on this project please contact Ginger Long at 309-229-3446.
