Ducks WIN in Overtime

The photo at right pretty much tells the story of what our Ducks were up against in their last regular season home game of the season Friday night. The Spartans of Delevan/Prairie City are the biggest and some say the meanest team in the conference. In order to keep any play-off hopes alive all the Ducks had to do was to do what everyone thought was a very tough thing to do...beat the Spartans in the rain with a soaked turf.

The Ducks responded to the challenge. Leaving the field at halftime down by a touchdown they held their own in the first half. Returning for the second half, they answered quickly with the score which tied the game which would not be resolved in regulation time. This team has had a great season with games that could have gone either way, but win or loose, these guys were fun to watch.

Friday was also Senior Night as you will see in the photos below. To all the great Seniors on the team, the band, the cheer and dance squad, you are wonderful young folks that I am very proud to know. Thank you for all the great photo opportunities you have given me over the years. It was my privilege and honor to be there to capture them for you. I wish you nothing but the best that life has to offer for all of you. As for the rest of you, I will see you next year. Ted
