AWESOME! Is a word that describes something quite special. It would certainly apply to Coach Crouse who ends his coaching career. With him the high school volleyball careers of eight AWESOME senior athletes also ended on October 16th with yet another two game night of victory against PORTA.

   Ally, Eden, Rachel, Meaghan, Brooke, Ashley, McKayla, and Alli will soon be off working hard to become an English Teacher, Spanish Teacher, Zoologist, Nurse, and Obstetrician, among other careers. But for the last volleyball season of their high school careers they have been the hub of the Havana Ducks Volleyball Team. A truly AWESOME team it is. The entire program should be extremely proud of their efforts. This is a very talented group of athletes who play as athletes should. They are gracious in victory, very nice young ladies, and fearsome gladiators on the courts. Girls, be very proud of your efforts you are as good as any sports team in Ducks history regardless of win/loss stats. All the best to all of you and Coach Crouse, and thank you for a very enjoyable season, it has sincerely been my honor and privilege to photograph your last season as AWESOME Ducks.
