Historic Homes
Like most river communities, Havana is well known for it's wealth of beautifully preserved/restored old homes. These treasures are very amazing to view. Old world design and workmanship of master builders just can not be found in today's structures.
All these homes have interesting histories but one of the most mentioned of these treasures rests on the South Plum Street hill and is shown at right. This was the beautiful home of Democratic majority leader, US Senator Scott W. Lucas.
