The
Prairieland Conference Art Show was
recently attended by art students from Abingdon, Astoria, Avon,
Brimfield,
BPC, Cuba, Elmwood, Havana, Knoxville, Peoria Heights, Valley, and VIT.
Participating Havana students included: Toshia Burgess (Not Pictured),
Jenny Balagna, Richard Schulte, Tiffanie Bell, Rosanna Cravens, Wyomia
Eaglin, Emily Hodgson, Brock Jump, Cody Kinzer, Meghan Landry (Not
Pictured), Seth Lesemann, David Masten, Alex Richardson, Brittany Smith,
Nikki Stambaugh, Whittanie Bell, Emily Holliday, Courtney Smith, Logan
Cowin, Vanessa Coleman, and Havana Art Instructor, Jennifer Chism.
Havana students commanded a very impressive 9 first place awards including Meghan Landry's "Best of Show" in the Ink Drawing category, also winning a Student's Choice Award. In the 3-D category Jenny Balagna received first place honors, in the Charcoal category Meghan Landry placed 2nd and 5th, in the Photography Digital Not Altered category Seth Leseman placed 1st and Meghan Landry placed 3rd, in the Photography Digital Altered category Meghan Landry placed 3rd, in the Oil Pastel category Brittany Smith placed 1st and Emily Holiday placed 5th, in the Textile category Emily Holiday placed 2nd with a Student's Choice Award and Courtney Smith placed 4th, in the Colored Pencil category Meghan Landry placed 1st, in the Oil/Acrylic Painting category Wyomia Eaglin placed 1st with a Student's Choice Award, in the Watercolor category Brittany Smith placed 1st, and in the Computer Generated Art category Meghan Landry placed 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
