The Freshmen Ducks...really took it to the PORTA Freshmen on Monday night. The boys took an early lead and didn't look back. These guys are good solid players with considerable experience from their HJHS program. They will provide a lot of depth this year as we saw a commanding win by 30 points on Monday night.
At the same time our Lady Varsity Ducks had traveled to PORTA for what most were saying would be a tough game for them. Those girls made them eat Bluejay. Coach Jerry Wilson could only say, "Those girls make my job easy." A big CONGRATULATIONS to both teams.
The Varsity Ducks boys teams take the home hardboards on Friday with their first home game of the season against who else...PORTA. This is their only home game in December. The After Prom Committee will begin serving their Spaghetti dinners at 5:00 with the JV game beginning at 6:00, BE THERE! We will be there taping a location show for "Mad About the Ducks" and of course while the guys are doing that I will be capturing some stills for you. Come out and have a great dinner and support our teams.
