The musicals final performance took to the stage on Sunday, March 29th at 2:00 p.m. Havana High’s large and enthusiastic cast performed the Tony Award-winning musical “Into the Woods,” by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine. The musical, Directed by Carol L. Rainer, features fairy tales, such as “Jack and the Beanstalk,” “Cinderella,” “Little Red Riding Hood,” “Sleeping Beauty,” “Snow White” and “Rapunzel,” but deals with consequences that traditional fairy tales conveniently ignore. Ultimately, all of the characters in the stories must deal with what happens after “happily ever after.”
