The City Council met in Regular Session in the Council Chambers; Mayor Dale Roberts calledthe meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.; City Clerk Ruby Miller called the roll and the following Aldermen answered to their names: Jim Sarnes, Portia Brown, Greg Cox, Harold Palmer, Jim Stroh, Charles Campbell. Absent: Brenda Stadsholt & Don Bryant. A quorum was present. Meeting taped. Attorney Blake Lindner was in attendance. Mr. Davis Reported that we are trying To get the EPA’s input on what They are expecting us to do. Would like someone from the Compliance Section of EPA To come to Havana. The Tremont pump station is much More efficient than the old one. We have made improvements to The sewer system…we have Raised the weirs at both of the Outfalls. Discussion.

PUBLIC WORKS Absent. Alderman Campbell None REPORT reported Jewel and he rented a small drum roller for $850/mo. from RSC in E. Peoria. The purchase price is $5990 if City wants to buy it….rental would go toward purchase price.

LICENSES Alderman Cox presented Motion made by Palmer, seconded ORD. & LEGAL Ordinance #1307 the 20 year by Brown, to adopt Ord. #1307 being ORD.#1307 contract with Ameren CIPS the 20 year contract with Ameren CIPS To furnish gas to the City. To furnish gas to the City of Havana. Discussion. Contract is Voting Yes-Sarnes, Brown, Palmer, From 9/14/2009 to 9/14/2029. Campbell. Voting No-Cox & Stroh. Motion Passed.
