The City Council met in Regular Session in the Council Chambers; Mayor Dale Roberts calledthe meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.; City Clerk Ruby Miller called the roll and the following Aldermen answered to their names: Jim Sarnes, Portia Brown, Greg Cox, Harold Palmer, Jim Stroh, Charles Campbell & Don Bryant. Absent: Brenda Stadsholt. A quorum was present. Meeting taped. Attorney Blake Lindner was not in attendance. ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT REPORT Terry Svob reported he is None currently working on loan requests for a couple of local businesses.
PUBLIC WORKS Jewel Bucy thanked Council None REPORT for listening to the Brotke Report on the well maintenance program.
FINANCE & Alderman Palmer asked Council Motion made by Palmer, seconded PURCHASING for approval of TIF façade grant by Brown, to approve TIF payment payment of $5,000 to Kenneth & to Kenneth & Jodie Shore a/k/a “A Jodie Shore a/k/a “A Cut Above”, Cut Above” for $5,000 from TIF. building on N. Plum St. Voting Yes-Sarnes, Brown, Cox, Palmer, Stroh, Campbell & Bryant Voting No-None
Alderman Palmer asked Council Motion by Sarnes, seconded by for a motion on the approval of Campbell, to approve Brotke Well the well maintenance work on to do well maintenance work on #4 #4 and #5 in the amount of and #5 at a cost of $18,000 per well. $36,000 for both wells; to be Voting Yes-Sarnes, Brown, Cox, Palmer, done by Brotke Well, paid for out Stroh, Campbell & Bryant of this year’s Water dept. budget. Mayor Roberts asked Gary Davis if he wanted to address the Council. Mr. Davis requested that a committee meeting be scheduled some afternoon next week to review some project items.
